Put this cartridge in yesterday, the correct spanner wrench sure would have been a good thing. Took cannister to my work shop, secured the bottom in my vise, used pipe wrench to unscrew the threaded top all the while being careful not to mess up O-rings. Successful ! no leaks, no problems. Shipping was very quick and nicely packaged. Have not yet installed new filter, my only concern is if I ordered the correct filter for my remineralization cannister ??
The only problem I'm having that I have never had before was when I turn the water on, it hesitates then starts to come out only when the unit turns on. I thought it was Because the filters were clogged. So that's why I bought new filters and change them. But the same thing is still happening? Also, when I get water out of the Refrigerator the frizzlife unit turns on and off. And the water comes out slow, this never happened before. Don't know what else to do. But the filter delivery was good.
After using the PD600 for a year and a half now, this filtration system is amazing in every way. No negative feedback whatsoever. Definitely worth the investment for your health. Bought multiple units, family has clean water now too. Filters are competitively priced by comparison.
