Why there are many white bubbles in the water?

Normally for the first time use of the RO system, the water seems to have white bubbles in it,which is normal and totally drinkable. It is because when the pump is pressurizing the water, it will pressurize the air at the same time. It will make the air molecules smaller, thus the solubility further increases. The air can’t be released at that time because of the pressure in the RO system.However, when you turn on the tap to get a cup of water, the pressure of air is released. So you will see a huge number of bubbles in the water. It looks cloudy and white, but they are just bubbles. After you put the water still for a while, all bubbles will be gone, the water is totally good for drinking.

TDS tester pen shows higher result than the TDS number displayed on the PD600-TAM3?

It is because the TAM3 filter, the post filter, adds the minerals to the water. Normally the TAM3 will increase the TDS by 10-30 ppm. If the system hasn’t been used for a while, the TAM3 will restore more minerals to the water, and at that time the water is very good, the PH level will be more than 9.

Why TDS is higher at the beginning, but back to normal range after about one minute?

Osmosis is a natural phenomenon happens in all RO system, no matter if you have a conventional RO system or tankless RO system. When the RO system starts to work, pressure from the pump overcomes natural osmotic pressure, forcing feed water through the RO membrane that removes the impurities. When the RO system stops working, the pump stops offering pressure as well. At that time, because of different concentrations, a small fraction of ions will enter into pure water and cause TDS to rise by a small amount. However, even if the TDS reading is a little high at the beginning, the quality water is still unbeatable by any other filtration methods including carbon,KDF, ceramic, UF, UV, etc.. The water is totally good to drink and you don’t have to wait for about 1 minute to get the water, since the whole system will not release any harmful substances to the water. The TDS removing rate for PD600-TAM3 is about 94-95%, if your incoming TDS is high, the outlet TDS will be high too.

How does the TDS display on the machine work?

When the system is running, the TDS sensor in the PD600-TAM4 will keep testing the water quality every 1 minute. Therefore, the TDS result you see from the machine is from the last test memory. If you want to have the real-time TDS result, please let the machine run for about 1 minute.

If I don’t want to use the TAM3, how should I disconnect it?

You don’t have to disconnect the tubing and the fittings on the TAM3. You only need to unscrew the TAM3 filter and the water still can go through.

My granite is thicker than 1.5 inch and the faucet stem is not long enough, what should I do?

We used to have quite hard tap water, and regular filter pitchers always left the water tasting "flat." After switching to PD600-TAM3, the water is noticeably clean and has a subtle natural sweetness - much more pleasant to drink. Its water output is plenty for our big family, for drinking, cooking, even mixing baby formula. I recommend this to any household with high daily water usage. Filter replacements are easy and not complicated. Great value for money.

Not a review writer, but I got this unit today and in +/- an hour including unboxing, it is up and running giving crystal clear water. Installation was straightforward. The provided tubing and connectors were high quality and more than enough. My TDS after installation is 12 but this will probably go down after my well pump filter settles as I just rebedded it. Great value and very easy installation. I added the small surge tank they sell and will add the refrigerator water as soon as the kit gets here.

This is my first under the sink water filter system so was a little bit nervous with the DIY itself. But the process was not difficult. I am not that very handy but I was able to follow through the instructions in the video. It’s just working in a very tight space like the under the sink that makes it challenging. Water tastes really crisp and clean. Investing in a system that will provide you with clean and healthier drinking water is one of the best decision you’ll ever make in life. Installation was simple. The application for this reverse osmosis system is for an espresso machine which previously had to be sent to the manufacturer for scale removal. We were advised the mineralization cartridge values are as follows:K: 0.3~1.5 mg/LCa: 0.5~8 mg/LNa: 0.1~8 mg/LMg: 0.1~1 mg/LWe are hopeful that the Frizzlife system reverse osmosis, water treatment with this remineralization will prevent further scale buildup, while, at the same time, provide minerals for great tasting coffee extraction. We will update. Will now purchase another unit PD800 and integrate another remin cartridge , very satisfied with PD 600 and will use for drinking water. PD 1000 will be used for espresso machines.We have purchased two units 2nd unit PD 1000 TAM4:Both the tapwater and the well water in southwest Michigan is contaminated with 100-225ppm chlorides. Which are guaranteed to cause damage to very expensive espresso machines. Only reverse osmosis will remove chlorides. Frizzlife PD 1000 eliminates almost 100% of these and other contaminants. The TAM4 re-mineralization filter provides adequate minerals for good espresso machine operation as well as good mineral balance for coffee flavor extraction. We highly recommend this product for cafes and home use. Some say the TDS is high after letting the system set for 8-10 hours. Please know this is expected, as the RO water that is restin in the remineralization filter has collected more of the healthy minerals. This is actually a good result! If one wishes a certain level f minerals, they could fill a fairly large pitcher. The TDS results will then be diluted. A water hardness test should be performed before using this water in your very expensive espresso machines! Also note that it is highly recommended to use a water softener upstream of this reverse osmosis system when the water will be supplying espresso machines. The ideal water hardness for espresso machines is between 50-80ppm Total Hardness for best taste and to avoid machine damage.

FrizzLife has been nothing but a positive experience for me with their other filters. I expect nothing but the best and after the installation of this unit, I'll update this review.Jan 19, 2024 UPDATEEverything installed much easier than the old tank system. A half inch hole is needed for the RO faucet. I did have one issue, a leak with a rubber flat washer that seals the tee-fitting to the supply valve. The washer had a nick on the edge of it. After a run to the plumbing house, they suggested an o-ring in place of the flat washer. Problem solved. I wish this had been addressed in the installation guide. That would have saved me some aggravation and a trip to the store.I'm keeping my rating at 4 because they need better accessability to tech services. A phone number or at least a chat line. I had a question on mounting the alkaline filter horizontally instead of vertically. You have to send an email and wait a day for an answer. Really??? I went ahead and mounted it horizontally and the next day I got the replying email confirming that it is fine to mount it horizontally.I have tried alkaline water and don't like the taste of it. This was my biggest concern with this unit. The final filter is a mineral/alkaline filter which helps to balance the pH and get the water out of the acidic pH. By the way, the water tastes great. I'm so pleased with the water. It's crystal clear, odorless, and tastes wonderful. No more hauling 5 gallon jugs from the grocery store.

Works great. Installed unit in basement involving over 30 feet of 1/2" PEX to service fridge and kitchen sink. 1/2" PEX may be larger than needed, but wanted to ensure the long runs will not reduce water pressure. Threading PEX throughout a finished house was the biggest challenge, only made possible by creating access holes hidden in bottom of cabinets. Conserving precious kitchen cabinet space and getting the pump noise to the utility room was well worth the effort.

Hey I tested the purity of this filter but I’m not totally convinced with the results I got. I have seen alkaline remineralized and ionized water before. But this doesn’t look golden like it usually looks instead it looks dirty. The clean cup is the carbon filter plus the reverse osmosis filter but the next cup is the water after the alkaline filter. They need to say what’s on this filter i researched but there is no website that will tell you what they add back to the water. I want to know what they are putting back to the water because it doesn’t look that neat to be honest. Until Frizzlife doesn’t post the minerals they add and the amounts I’m not giving a 5 star review.

So... I have really really bad water.Been using Zero Water filters up to now, but it's gotten progressively more expensive as my water has gotten worse - this time last be year it read ~230 ppm - to the point that I was going through a $13 Zero Water filter in less than 10 days, so I broke down and got one of theseThe results speak for themselves. From nearly 600 down to the second stage reporting 14, the remineralisation stage ~60.It's filtering, but I'll be waiting to see just how long the filters last. I'm wagering it won't be anywhere near the rated 1 year with this quality of water.I'm hoping four months for stage 1, one year for stage 2

I was looking for an RO system which balanced water flow, purity, features, taste and price. I landed on this and the reviews seem pretty accurate so far. The water tasted good and the water flow is good. The system itself is a bit noisy though muffled by the under-sink cabinet and the water comes out with micro bubbles right now so appears a bit turbid for a short period of time. I had a plumber install it and it cost me more than I expected but I am not sure that was due to the product itself. But it looks great and works well, and the support has been terrific. The system ships with a nickel faucet but I needed a matte black which Frizzlife support immediately shipped out upon my request. Kudos for their quick action. I highly recommend the system.

My Frizzlife RO Dispenser is working beautifully, delivering delicious, clean water for my home. The unit is designed to be compact, and convenient. The display is large color coded display is easy to see without bending down. I was prepared to place many of my "under kitchen sink" items in another location, however after the Frizzlife was installed, I could fit everything back under the sink. The filter and power supply are mounted leaving only the Head under the sink. Unlike others, it was designed for a real kitchen. Thank you Frizzlife!

It has been a while since I purchased and used a new kitchen water filter. Install took about 1.5 hours by myself, I used the manual but about half way through, I watched the YouTube install video. My suggestion would be to watch the video and read the manual completely before beginning. It’s not a difficult install however watching the video completely first, will help you better understand each step once you get to it. You might need a second pair of hands to tighten the faucet into place and make sure you have a sharp drill bit for the drain. I watched for leaks as I let the system run for the first time. Now about the quality: wow! I had been having a hard time staying hydrated, even drinking alkaline water. The day after install I took a gallon to work and about 1/2 through the day, my energy level was high and I didn’t feel thirsty, this system is worth every bit of money I paid for it. I’ve been using it for drinking, cooking, tea and coffee. No more hauling bottle water from the store.

Frizzlife RO reduced my well water's TDS from 550 to 21, which is quite good. It is quite compact under your kitchen sink. You will still have room for a few other things. They do have a good installation video but be warned it does take more than two hours to install if you are not a plumber like me. In the video everything is predrilled, so it does look like you can do things quickly. They demonstrate how to install the RO faucet, for example, but above the sink not as you actually have to install it with you head under the sink. Overall, I gave the product five stars because it is quite compact and easy for you to maintain and change filters and it does an excellent job at reducing the TDS. I also like the fact that it has a Calcium filter which adds Calcium to your water which makes it taste almost like the best spring water.
