How often should I replace the FF1080 filter cartridges?

The FF1080 supports compatible Frizzlife replacement cartridges, including the FF1080-8F pack with six PP cotton and two carbon fiber cartridges, and the FFPP-1 pack with eight PP cotton cartridges. Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 153 reviews.
It’s not just the product itself that impressed me—it’s the attention to detail that went into the packaging and everything that comes with it. Each individual part comes in its own little bag, and they include all the adapters you could possibly need in case you have a different style or brand of faucet, or even a faucet from another country. I was lucky that mine fit perfectly right away without needing an adapter, but I’m still glad they included all the options in case I ever move or change faucets.
I also love that it has a built-in filter and a flexible arm. In my case, I have a very long sink, and my faucet wasn’t reaching the middle of the sink properly. This solved that problem perfectly.
I used to use the filter shown in the second photo on all of my faucets because the water where I live is very dirty. While it worked, the replacement filters were expensive—and that’s really where they get you. The filter itself may not be very expensive, but the replacement filters add up quickly. The plastic housing was also bulky and eventually started leaking after repeated use.
That’s one of the reasons I like this product so much. The replacement filters are inexpensive and easy to find online, and it comes with several filters right out of the box. The ones included could easily last me a year or more. That’s exactly how a product like this should be sold.
I ended up liking this faucet extension so much that I bought one for every bathroom in my home. I’m a huge fan, and I honestly hope they never change the quality or simplicity of the product.
If they ever wanted to upgrade it, the only things I could imagine adding would be a 360-degree swivel function for the extension arm, if that’s technically possible, and maybe a small filter-life indicator that changes color when the filter needs to be replaced. But honestly, neither of those features is necessary. If adding them would make the product more expensive, I’d much rather they leave it exactly as it is.
I really can’t say enough good things about this product. The price point is excellent, too. Anything significantly more expensive would probably be too much, but at this price, it’s practically perfect.
I absolutely love this faucet extension and highly recommend it.
I received it today and installed it right away. I love it. The water pressure is noticeably better with this extension, and it’s super handy for cleaning the sink since you can move it in different directions. The only downside is that the installation guide isn’t very clear, so I had to look up a YouTube video to figure out how to install it properly.
I just hope the quality holds up well too.
Been using it for a year and two months now with no issues. Extra grateful for the filter changing process being so easy that my brain doesnt see it as a “task” and procrastinate on it. I change it pretty promptly at the start of each month cause it’s so simple. The water in my area is gross. Im in LA in an apt where the water pipes I know are rusted or rusting. I can tell the filter is catching something! Plus it still has a nice amount of resistance in the swivel and flow change even after a full year of frequent use and switching it up all the time (cause I turn it upward to wash my face daily). Love this thing and ordering filter replacements was easy too. I highly appreciate and respect them for giving us a 9 month supply up front. Ive shared this item with many friends and even strangers.
I recently moved in to a new place and the water quality isn't great. My skin was breaking out like crazy and the water leaves pink residue around the drain. This faucet is a life saver! It was so easy to install, even for someone like me with no plumbing experience. It's still early on, but my skin is already noticeably better.
Their customer service team is amazing and so helpful, I can't give them enough kudos. I needed a different adapter size and they knew exactly what I needed and sent the extra part quickly. Thank you!
10/10 value. they look great. They work great and I can definitely taste the difference in the water. Much cheaper than buying anything locally, and the chrome finish doesn’t stain really either.
This pic is just 1 week after initial placement. Not only did color change but the water pressure diminished as well. Upon changing it the pressure was back to normal. Thank you
We live in the city and in our kitchen we have a more high end water purifier.because we got high readings when we tested it. So we got this one for are bathroom to filter it cause it has different style sink. 100% works we compared a new filter to a 30 day old filter you can see the debris and yuck all in the second filter. So glad we bought this.
This little product is amazing. It’s swivels easy to install great pressure soft on my hands no spots on my dishes no leakage. I thought I was going to have to return it, but I fell in love the second my fiancé installed it. I am able to easily clean the sink with the swivel head and use it for filling water in my coffee maker. I have soft hands and don’t need to wear big rubber gloves to do my dishes anymore. It’s an amazing product. I would definitely purchase this product, especially if you’re in an area that has hard water. It makes all the difference.
Doesn’t matter where you live everyone needs one! We didn’t know our water was this nasty till we purchased this!! We’re next to Chicago O’Hare Illinois
Buy and see for yourself how really dirty water you’re getting in your homes not only in apartments!Dont trust your city or town get one asap!
Pleased with the ease of installation. Plenty of adapters and washers to adapt to a faucet. Luckily I didn't require additional adaptations for the filter to work. Filter isalready working well. California water system has a lot of gunk and I'm glad I have something to help me improve my faucet water.
I rarely ever post reviews but had to with the results I saw. The pictures are of a new filter and the filter after 1 month in use. You can see how much it collects. The customer service support is also amazing and quick to respond. Legit company and product.
I just moved to a new apartment in LA a week ago and I discovered how gross/hard the water was. I got this filter for every sink in my apartment and you can literally see the debris it is catching. And I like how it comes with multiple filters to switch out. My skin feels noticeable less dry after washing my face and I feel cleaner brushing my teeth. Something I probably couldn’t live without in my LA apartment. Highly recommend.
I don't usually review products, but this faucet extender has been a huge convenience!
Perfectly Fit: It is easy to connect and install, unscrew the original faucet on the bubbler, directly screw the extender on it. (All installation tools and adapters are included in their product)
Use: You can adjust the water flow in any angle and direction, whether it is in hand washing, hair washing, or bathing pets, it is very convenient. There is no water leakage until now, I like it very much!
Cost-effective: equipped with 8 cartridges at one time, only 12.99/8 pcs for re-purchase
This works sooooo well!!!! My water was barely coming out on the highest settings and it busting out with this filter attached to it!! I love it so much! You can move it in all directions making it easy to wash your face or clean your sink. It’s hefty and has a very beautiful chrome finish. You get 2 settings of how the water comes out the faucet. I genuinely like it! My only complaint is that it can be loud but that, I can work around.
I’ll just say, don’t let all the adapters confuse you! If you need an adapter, that’s great cause it’s 4 different ones, but if not, just go straight into using the rubber washers.
Super easy to install and great quality build. Can’t beat the price for the quality. I have paid more for plastic crap. This is solid and very versatile with the movement and glow options.
I purchase two of these products - one for my kitchen and one for my bathroom. The kitchen one installed perfectly within minutes and now over a month later works wonderfully. My sink in the bathroom is an obnoxious size, but between the tools provided in the package and the genuinely wonderful customer service I was able to find an adapter that fit and now both my sinks are set up and running well!
If you have any questions or concerns please email them. They're very kind and helpful!
Easy installation. I didn’t end up needing the adapters that were provided, but was grateful to have them nonetheless. So far so good over here, would recommend.
Instant solution to low flow and the ability to turn has made a big difference with cleaning as well. It was a simple install, and overall, I would recommend.
UPDATE - I am updating my review. Turns out the problem is with our water not the filter on this faucet. To get the water to test in the green zone would require a reverse osmosis system. The faucet comes with 2 filters. We changed the filter and could clearly see where the first filter was working. Put in the second type and it is filtering more. Still in the red but at a much lower number. Also the seller reached out to me with an offer to make things right. This is HUGE! Good Customer Service is so hard to come by these days. The ability to change the spray and swivel the faucet works great and comes in handy.
This was easy to install but the water quality is still testing in the high end of the red zone.
This brand of faucet filter is easy to open for filter replacement. Other brands aren't. After replacing the filter cartridge, I noticed that dishes I washed were squeaky clean, without spots on glass that had been there before. Following instructions resulted in no leaks, easy swivel that reaches the whole sink, and a smooth transition from stream to spray and back again. It comes with a large supply of filter cartridges, which is nice. Highly recommend.
I bought this mostly for the filter, but my god the ability to move it and position it how I please is great.
You see I wanted a filter on my bathroom sink because I am lazy and want water at night and don't want to walk down stairs, for washing my face and my cats water bowl which is weirdly placed next to my room (he's an anxious eater) but its is 100% a great product
Everything was as advertised. The quality of the fittings is excellent, parts included allowed for a quick installation, size and flexibility of positioning was exactly what I needed. Water pressure is not limited. Filters are working. I felt the difference immediately as I have very hard water. Am very satisfied.
I picked this Frizzlife faucet filter + 1080° rotating aerator and overall it’s a very handy upgrade for both kitchen and bathroom sinks. The filtration works well, and the swivel feature is far more useful than I expected.
What I Like:
Noticeable Chlorine Reduction: After installing it, the water tastes and smells cleaner. The filters really do help reduce chlorine, which is great for both drinking and washing your face.
9 Filter Cartridges Included: Nice value — no need to buy replacements immediately.
1080° Rotating Aerator: Surprisingly useful. You can angle the water exactly where you need it — rinsing fruits, cleaning the sink, washing your face, or filling containers that don’t fit under the faucet.
Two Water Modes: The stream + spray options are convenient for both washing and gentle rinsing.
Solid Brass Build: The swivel head feels sturdy and well‑made, not like cheap plastic attachments.
Easy Installation: Took only a few minutes and fit my faucet without issues (comes with adapters).
Things to Know:
Filters Are Small, So They Don’t Last Super Long: Because the cartridges are compact, they’ll need to be changed more frequently if you use a lot of water for cooking or washing.
Water Flow Slows Slightly With Filtration Mode: Not bad, but noticeable — normal for any faucet filter.
May Not Fit Every Faucet: Works best on standard round faucets; modern pull‑down sprayers usually aren’t compatible.
Overall, this is a very practical faucet filter and aerator combo that improves water quality and makes everyday sink tasks easier. Great value considering the included filters and the extremely convenient swivel head.
This extender is wonderful. Reaches all corners of the sink. Also nice you don't have to take the whole thing apart to change the filter. I would Highly recommend this item to anyone.
5 Stars for sure.
I love this product. Installation is fairly simple, but you must find the right combination of parts provided to fit up and seal it from leaking when attaching it to your faucet. Only wish is that they made it in White powder coat to match my kitchen Faucet. Recommended..
1. At first, send me a used (someone being used returned as RMA) and without 8 pcs filters as described so I return replace instead refund.
2. two days later I received the replacement with all parts in seal and work great after installation.
3. for the replacement I give it 5 stars
I honestly didn’t know I needed this until I got it, but now I can’t imagine my kitchen aink without it. I picked up the Frizzlife 1080° Rotating Filter, and it has made such a huge difference.
?Here’s why I’m loving it:
?The Mobility is Crazy: The "1080° rotation" isn't a joke. You can literally point the water anywhere and it’s perfect for rinsing out the sink or even brushing your teeth.
?Noticeably Better Water: I live in an area with pretty "crunchy" tap water, and I’ve actually noticed my skin feeling less dry after washing. Plus, knowing it’s filtering out 99% of chlorine gives me some peace of mind.
?Super Easy Install: I’m not exactly a "handyman," but this took maybe five minutes to set up. It feels sturdy since it's brass, not cheap plastic. It fit perfectly ??It is versatile and can be used on most sink faucets!
?Value for Money: It comes with 9 replacement filters, which is a massive win. I won't have to worry about buying refills for a long time.
?If you’re looking to upgrade your sink without actually replacing the whole faucet, this is a total steal. Highly recommend!
